Wedding venue guide
The Belsfield Hotel Wedding Venue, Bowness-on-Windermere
Bowness-on-Windermere · Cumbria – Lake District · United Kingdom
The Belsfield Hotel is a grand Victorian property set above Bowness-on-Windermere, with formal gardens and sweeping views over Windermere towards the fells. Its white façade, elegant interiors and elevated terraces create a classic Lake District wedding backdrop within walking distance of the town and waterfront. The hotel supports bespoke weddings of varying sizes, including more intimate celebrations, while offering bedrooms, dining and guest facilities on site. The lawns and lake panorama are especially strong for group photographs and sunset portraits. The Belsfield suits couples wanting recognisable lakeside grandeur, hotel convenience and easy access for guests, while retaining the visual romance of a destination wedding in the Lakes.
