Wedding venue guide
Low Wood Bay Resort & Spa Wedding Venue, Ambleside
Ambleside · Cumbria – Lake District · United Kingdom
Low Wood Bay Resort & Spa occupies a prominent position on the eastern shore of Windermere, with uninterrupted views across the lake towards the Lakeland fells. The resort can host intimate ceremonies or large celebrations, supported by extensive bedrooms, restaurants, spa facilities and professional event spaces. Its waterside lawns, jetties and infinity-style viewing platform provide striking ceremony and photography locations, particularly at sunset. Guests can combine the wedding with a longer Lake District stay, making it a practical destination venue. Low Wood Bay suits couples seeking dramatic scenery and full resort infrastructure, with more capacity and leisure facilities than many of the region’s smaller country-house wedding venues.
