Wedding venue guide
Storrs Hall Wedding Venue, Bowness-on-Windermere
Bowness-on-Windermere · Cumbria – Lake District · United Kingdom
Storrs Hall is a Grade II*-listed Georgian mansion positioned directly on the shore of Windermere, offering one of the Lake District’s most elegant waterside settings. The house combines period reception rooms, extensive gardens, lake frontage, a jetty and luxury bedrooms, supporting intimate weddings, elopements and exclusive-use celebrations. Its architecture and uninterrupted water views provide exceptional photography without leaving the estate. The atmosphere is refined and private, with the feel of a country-house gathering rather than a large resort. Storrs Hall is particularly suited to couples seeking classical luxury and direct lake access. At the time of checking, the venue states that 2026 is fully booked and new enquiries are paused.
